Christina Haack was born in Anaheim California, on the 9th day of July, 1983. Her first job post-school was that of an estate agent. It was through this that she met her future partner, Tarek El Moussa. They enjoyed great success through 2008, but then the market plummeted and numerous house flippers and real estate investors were bankrupt. Tarek El Moussa as well as Christina Moussa nearly ended up losing everything as a result. The couple relocated from a costly home, where they paid $6,000 per month, and moved to a small house that was only $700. The business grew slowly and the overall economy recovered. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek requested a colleague to assist him in creating the HGTV audition tape, which featured him and Christina turning a house start to finish. The tape landed in hands of executives at the production company Pie Town Productions. The execs were infatuated with Christina's story of love between Tarek and Christina. The couple signed an agreement with HGTV. Then, in April of 2013, "Flip of Flop" was launched. The show ran 92 episodes between 2013 and 2017. Christina as well as Tarek had to buy houses, usually within Orange County. After spending many weeks making improvements then they'd flip the houses in order to earn profits. Tarek is focused on the construction and renovations and Christina is in charge of creating the design. She makes sure everything runs on time.
