Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer became famous on the television show, playing Alex on One Tree Hill's last three seasons. The first three albums she released as a country singer were featured on episodes of the show, which helped her debut album, titled "Eponymous," into the Top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One by 2015 was the sequel and reached number Ten. The singer ended the decade by appearing for Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside an assortment of singles that were not album tracks. In 2021, she released the self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer was born and brought up within Rochester Hills Michigan. She was a child who listened to the country genre, and eventually went on to make a go of it as a recording artist. But, she began her acting career as a teenager in 2002's indie horror movie Dead/Undead. Her appearances were in guest spots for All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights in the second season of the series 2007-2008. Kramer would go on to appear as Portia Ranson on 90210 (2008-2009) and Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009), before she was tapped for One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until the halfway point of its last season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer, during her stint in One Tree Hill signed with Elektra Records. She debuted the contemporary song "I Won't Give Up in a 2011. One Tree Hill episode. Later, in 2012, the song was released as a single on Jana Kramer - her first album. It reached number five on Billboard Top Country Albums. In the meantime, she focused on her musical career, she continued to act and was in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 (which attracted her fan base) or Country Crush 2016 (which would be a hit with her music lovers). Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th, 2015. I Got the Boy - a Top Five Country hit - as well as Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead vocalist, singing a duet on to make it into the top ten spot on the Billboard 200. In September of 2016, her stint on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months before ending with a 4th place finishing. That same year she made a splash with an adult contemporary track with Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
